Space Ark crashing
I brought Space Ark, via Steam, recently and have a consistent error with it. Everytime I finish the tutorial it crashes and I have to start again. I’ve reinstalled the game, run it windowed or in full screen and it still fails at the same point. Anyone found a solution to this? I’m running Windows 7 64bit. UPDATE: received a positive reply, with a workaround, from Simon Morris at strawdog Studios
Hi Ro, Thankyou for your email. I am very sorry to hear about your experience with our game. We are aware of this issue, and we have been working on a fix that we are hoping to release today. In the meantime, if you have an xbox 360 usb joypad, you can play the game with this and it will not crash. I apologise for your inconvenience and will let you know as soon as the patch is ready.
